Features

This is a “Special Features” section devoted to Mr. Oldman’s styles and love for music. And since this is a fun section of the website, we hope you don’t mind if we drop the formalities and explore the Gary in Gary Oldman…

Fans have always been curious about Gary’s awesome t-shirts. You are probably familiar with the words: “Bermuda,” “Working Class Hero,” “No Pictures,” and “1811-1874.” Well, you’re at the right place. Here are some information to help you make your wardrobe a little bit more GARY-STYLE.

Old Focals Pasadena // John Lennon - Bermuda // John Lennon - Working Class Hero

We did some research and found that most of the t-shirts Gary sported over the years are from a company called Worn Free. Worn Free reproduces original t-shirts worn by rock legends and prominent figures in pop culture of the past. Gary owns a lot of the replicas of t-shirts worn by John Lennon, including “Bermuda” and “Working Class Hero.”

THE GLASSES BRING OUT THE CHARACTER

Gary spent quite some time choosing the right glasses for his portrayal of George Smiley in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and the store he went to for his selection was Old Focals. Old Focals offer vintage frames with a wide range of selection. They are also responsible for Gary’s “Old Focal” t-shirt (see above) and the many other awesome frames he wears from time to time. The store is located in Pasadena, California. Here’s their official facebook page and you can shop online here at Etsy.Com.

“THAT SCARF!”

Gary has expressed on many occasions of his fondness for Paul Smith’s design and how he shops regularly at the Paul Smith store in Los Angeles. Well, it was not surprising when our team researched this mysterious scarf and found out that it is in fact one of the many scarves in Paul Smith’s collection.

The Navy Jacket

Gary’s favorite jacket these days seems to be the Navy one, which often goes as a combo with the Navy scarf (see the left photo above). This jacket is among the ones in Paul Smith’s collection. We’re not exactly certain which line this jacket belongs in, but here it is right here:
